6x4x2 big enogh for rtc ?

just wondering im thinking about putting a pond together in my garage
and i would like to have a rtc but im not sure if this is big enogh

all opinions are welcome :)
 
That's a iffy pond size. I would do a 8'x4'x'3.... but a 6'x4'x2' would be good for a 3 years or so.
 
8x4x3 is still easy to do lol

i can make it 8ft thats just starting to take up some serious room lol
 
To be honest, i would say that a 6'x4'x2' would work, but the rtc would like a 8'x4'x3' better. I had two rtc's in a pond size i stated. But the rtc growth rate is redonkuless...

2'' to 23'' in 10 months.

im not sure what i would do for tank mates but absolutly NO PACU
 
yea if im getting a rtc the pond needs to be able to handle a rtc for life

im doing 8x4 that you dont even have to cut the 2x4x8's
