nice dobies, my dobie is about a year old. she's my second one, my first died of bone cancer when he was 6. here's my dogs. horrible pic of my dobie but she never holds still.

thanks again, the vet said he got bone cancer early because he grew so fast. that's why i got a female this time because they are smaller so i figured it would be less risk.

hope all goes well with your 2nd doberman. i'm not power feeding mine..

but she is growing fast in just 2 days... as i was told their full growth will be at 6 months. can't wait...

From my experience, dobie will grow their height in the first year then they will wide their body after their max height is reached. I have a almost 2 years old black dobie, wanna make some babies with your female later ? .

well i always like the show cut...but they are very tricky..for vet to do and also to train them to stand up equally so i did not want to chance it ...so i chose the medium cut for my dobie.. and i think i chose right....alot easier ..still tall and straight.. and gives the alert dobie look.. and not as hard to do for the vet..unless the vet is highly experienced i would go with the medium cut..
