70 Gal planted tank !?

Barbs will clean up some types of algae, so they are good to have in a planted tank. I loved my ammano shrimp (which are also good for certain types of algae), but my bichir ate them . I like to keep a nice ecosystem rather than a bunch of random fishes that only poop on things.

I also agree with seds, a bunch of a few types of fish looks a lot better than a huge mesh of randomness.

Golden barbs are pretty cool. They contrast nicely against the plants.

Bump to anyone else willing to help me out . should be ordering the plants beginning of next month so by the end of it i should be ordering the first few fish .

Plants will be something along the lines of ~

Pygmy Chain Sword
Cryptocoryne Lucens
Crypt Cordata
Crypt Griffithii
Vallis Torta
Red Vallis Spiralis
Red Cabomba
Red Ambulia
Red Amazon Sword
Green Myriophyllum
Ambulia Aquatica
Cabomba
Amazon Sword ( depending what i can get my hands on ) .

And fish i deffently want are ~

Cory
Twig Catfish
Whiptail Catfish
Clown Pleco and i have already got Tiger and Green Barbs along with 3 Angelfish .

So . . . What else should i get ?

So far you've just chosen bottom dwellers. You could get some peaceful cichlids like Apistogramma and a school of tetras or similar fish.

Well i do have some Tiger and Green Barbs now along with 3 angel Fish .

but yeah i have chosen the Bottom Dwellers , just now need to now workout what other fish i want for the tank .
