Oh and I am also a peacock bass guy with a couple of arowanas. Actually really into the whole South American stuff. Probably my next tat will be a huge South American theme with a colorful peacock being the centerpiece.

Nice drawing. Haha. I am also building one. I have my plans already done and exact measurements on all pieces. Tomorrow I will be placing the order for 1" ply and have my quotes for glass. Pretty pricy stuff! Your drawing doesn't show all the detail. So I was just curious on how you plan on doing it.

Cheaper then buying it at store LOL! I will save an estimated 1-2k dollars!

I will get an estimate on plywood soon...

anyone else?

Leave plenty of room in the stand for a sump and it never hurts to have room for a manifold. Also plan your plumbing so that you have as few 90 degree elbows as possible, and where you do need to turn the plumbing, use 45s instead of 90s, even if you need to use two. you get less loss that way. Also, ifyou arent doing a drip system, I'd look into doing and auto top off too.

Love the drawing btw. Not even ironically, makes me laugh at these guys that spend more time designing a tank with some cad program than actually building the tank itself

Good luck with your build! Do a better job keeping us updated than I have in my build thread ;)

Stock has changed a little... I will be adding a florida gar in addition to my current stock plan... And an albino channel cat... I know its overstocked but i will get them all small and if any of them truly start to get crammed in there i will deal with it
