You have pretty unlimited species list that is suitable for your pond.
I would try Bowfin/Gar combo or Bowfin/Bass/Bullhead/Catfish combo.

I had pondered using the same size stock pond in my future yard by the deck all year round. My concerns were 2 feet of water not being deep enough to keep the fish from freezing and many people saying the tanks crack in the winter. They claim the tanks need to be drained and the fish brought in the house during the winter.

I have a small poly tank (22g) which only has fish in the summer but is full in the winter, and it froze completely but didn't crack..

Lots of plants, some driftwood for the predators to relate to, a couple of large mouth bass, and several different sunfish species. a view from above is gonna be kind of blah, but maybe even some gambusia, to hold down the mosquito pit, and supply the other inhabitants with some fresh feeders.
