wonderful, when the tank is un-occupied i shall re set it for the bichirs, plenty of hiding spots

any tank mates?

You could try an African Predator tank (my set up)
Ctenopoma acutirostre -leopard Bushfish (Petsmart calls them African Leaf fish)
Pantodon bucholzi-African Butterflyfish
Congo Tetras (that is if you get sens as in theory congos get 4" which might be too big for a sen)

Synodontis eureptus- African Featherfin Catfish

But check the Polypterus primer it's a sticky, there are lots of lists there

so those guys u said and the three sens?

Just a quick question on your set-up.........I'm trying to set-up a West African biotype tank and I just wanted to know if your Leopard Bushfish stalks and kills your Congo Tetras or does it bother your Butterfly fish?:naughty:

I just need to know before I set this tank up. Thanx in advance!

I have a Congo Leaf Fish with some Congo Tetra that are no where near full size..... and the congo leaf fish leaves them along....I don't know about the Butterfly.

The senegals could go with An african brown knife also...
