I'm looking for lighting options for an unplanted Trimac 125g 72" show room tank.

I would like a light that doesn't sit on the tank's center braces, and instead supports itself with its own legs off the edge of the tank.

I'd like the light to display the fish's natural colors.

I'm not looking for a DIY light as this tank is in the living room and would love if it was also programmable with different light options.

Are there any affordable 72" lights besides the Beamworks? I've searched through the forum and it doesn't seem like there are many affordable options.

Thanks.

As a single 72" LED fixture, I don't think that you are going to find a lot, let alone affordable. I have a 72" T5 HO AquaticLife that has 3 program options built in. I've contemplated the idea of replacing with LED, but haven't found any real good alternatives for function and price where I could justify. If I did, it will likely be "separates" that go the width of the tank rather than the length as there are plenty more options.

I opted for the Beamwork 10K 1w 72In light (129.99 free shipping). VERY pleased with the Beamswork. I think FREAK78 would agree.

If its a show tank and you really want to highlight your fish I would avoid the beamswork. It has a very low cri and tends to wash out colors, however it is cheap and effective at providing light. A diy 6 foot shoplight with high cri led bulbs would provide a similar price point and better results.
I have nothing against the beamswork fixtures, however the low cri just isnt for me.
