This is possible. Bought my 600 Gallons for $500.00... used ofcourse but it's still a 600 :naughty:

Just have to really dig out for deals. I would hit up LFS that has giant display tanks.
Many have the idea that it would be NICE to have a giant display tank in the store but after time passes they realize it's not practical. It's cost more to operate than to just have a few extra tanks to be able to sell out of.....that's what happened in my case. They had two hugh salt water display tanks. Now they have 1 and is able to sell out of the replacement tank they put in. More profit for them =-)

WOW that is a hardcore steal.

I got my 600 for approx $700 new.

Did yours come with filtration etc?

i agree the dimensions are off and I feel that there is too much room taken up by that center overflow. if I get that many gallons, the tank would be 4 ft. wide and only about 30in. high. seems like wasted gallonage.

I'm pretty sure I know this store. It is in San Gabriel on the corner of Valley and San Gabriel Bl. This tank has been on display for about 7 years now. It's an awesome set up! I would buy that thing in the snap of a finger if I had the room for it. I remember asking them if they would sell it a few years back and I remember him quoting me $3000. Don't forget guys, pet stores are pretty negotiable on used tanks and equipment.

Thats a nice looking tank, But as stated by others, itd be better with the overflow not in the center an if it was wider an not as tall.
