After all the glassfibre matting is in and with two clear epoxy coatings on every wall, it's time to sand the surface to make it ready for the two final coatings with black epoxy.
Ahum, forgot to shield off the living room. So the whole room was covered in fine dust. It was not appreciated by everyone I'm afraid
It's getting darker in there already!
And the entire inside is coated black. Time to move on to the next stage.
Getting the glass in.
The black epoxy was sanded to give the silicone a good surface to adhere to. Then I put on some blobs of silicone and let them dry for a few days.
These blobs should prevent the silicone to be pressed out too much between the wooden front and glass by the weight of the glass.
