This is my 75 Gal planted Acaronia Nassa tank. I set this up with a lot of Water Sprite because it grows fast, thick and provides plenty of cover for these cryptic predators. I did plant an Amazon Sward directly under the light too. I only use a 24" double T-5 with 10K/6700K bulbs over the center of the tank leaving the corners dark. I have 7 BATS as dither and 5 Emerald corys to sift around the bottom. Every night at 8PM all five Nassa come front and center to wate to be feed. These are not the most colorful fish but they are very interesting to ovserve and one of my favorite tanks to watch.

Looks great. Mine loved to hang out in caves and under driftwood...

Matt

Thanks Matt, they are definatly stelthy critters. One of the larger Nassa came out of is "log" and grabbed one of the BATS but it managed to get away with half a face. It survived and is still swimming around like nothing happned minus an eye and part of it's jaw, although it doesn't hover near the log anymore. Once the Nassa get a little biger I suspect the BATS will slowly start to disappear.

The tank and the Nassa look great! I tried live plants in the past and it always ended in failure. Either the plants would die or the fish would dig them up. I think I might try again in a tank with fish that won't destroy plants.

Looks good nice planted set up !
