so I'am getting a 75 gallon in 5 months and I've done a lot of research on stocking already and I've come to a conclusion that I want African fish. Aqadvisor said this was 96% stocked but I want to know if I could add 2 senegal bichirs to this stocking list . Thanks

12 congo tetras
2 African butterfly fish
1 brown knife fish
2 African bush fish
1 rope fish

I also wanted to know if African bush fish are beginner friendly. Thanks

Looks fine to me.

The only thing that jumps out at me is the 12 congos are incredibly domineering in terms of activity and may overwhelm some of the other fish. Especially when it comes to feeding. They are pigs.

Have you considered maybe removing the knife fish and replacing with 2 pairs of riverine cichlids like kribs or A. Thomasi. This should add some pops of color as the other fish are similarly colored and the knife likes the shadier parts of aquariums.

As for the bush fish. Follow good fish husbandry , i.e. water changes and good diet and you should have no problems.

They really need to be in shoals so 6+ but to really enjoy them in a tank that size 8 or even better 10 would look awesome.
Depending on how you plan to feed you may need to be careful to ensure everyone gets a piece of the pie.

if you want to do a ropefish, you should really consider getting at least 3. They do better in groups it seems. They can become reclusive without them. I think you've got the room. If you don't want that many then potentially consider doing a smaller bichir instead like a senegal.

You will need for your Congos to get a head start in growth on your african bush fish I have seen videos of them being eaten by one if they are smaller.

You have much more self control than I do. I'd jam a group of ropes and senegals in there if it was me. stock list sounds awesome.
