floatings plants dont work to well with guppies they like to hang out at the top of the tank the fry would get eatin try moss and some intricate wood working on the bottom u kno fake grass works but is unattractive dont do to many gravel vacs while ther are new born fry because they will hide n eat while things settle to the bottom its always easier to have a sepperat tank but i dont guppy breed so often u will have more than enough buy the end of the month be patient they really act as self feeders to your adult fish
