yeah, inbreeding made them weak and being from Petco he probably doesn't have a very strong bloodline but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's actually a hybrid of some sort.
 
Personally I would do centrals. Start with a small group, let them pair off when mature, and just have two adults long term in a tank that size and let them breed if you have an outlet for the babies. Unless you can start right off with a guaranteed pair of course. If you did a SA community you might skip the severums or just have one. They get pretty big and I could see tensions between them and the angels, particularly with breeding activity. I've never tried it so it may work out fine. But I would have a back up plan to pull the severum if necessary. My angels go aggro when they lay eggs. And the green severums I had years ago got huge.
