75 Gallon Congo Forest Stream

I really love it man. Great aquascaping. Maybe throw in a ropefish or three? :)

Are those plants all biotope correct as well? Off the top of my head I know most of them are.

Thanks. There actually IS a ropefish (Erpetoichthys calabaricus) in there, although I doubt I'll ever get a good picture of him. All of the fish and plants in the tank are found in the Congo River (or it's tributaries), but the only problem is that I'm not entirely sure if they're all found in the same areas of the river. I know that the fish species P. pulcher, C. acutirostre, P. interruptus and the plants B. heudelotii and C. natans have all been found together near Malebo Pool and the surrounding areas, but I think that the fish B. longipinnis, E. calabaricus and the plants A. congensis and A. barteri are actually found closer to the coast.
Maybe I'll make a more accurate biotope when I have the chance to setup another tank.

What plant is floating on top left corner? I love how it shades part of the tank. Very natural looking. Great job!

Pisita stratiotes (Water Lettuce), there's a lot of it. I started out with 10 quarter sized plants about two months ago and I now have thousands of them hahaha. I've had to start throwing them away to keep the population at bay.

Just got this little babe!! I put her in the tank last night and he came flyin' out of his cave, from across the tank, and started attacking her and displaying his dominance. Literally, one minute later and they were following each other around like they'd been best friends for years haha.

nice setup! I had missed this thread.

Here's a short video of the tank. Not sure how to properly embed the video...

Got the video uploaded to youtube finally.
