Big train, How do you get the tank on the bottom in and out if nedd be? Kind of hard to tell in the pics. I am thinking about doing this for a 110 high and a 75.

You wouldn't need a welder, just make sure if you use lumber that you build it right. Cause there is no next time after an accident lol.

in my area, steel tube stands designed to hold two tanks are very common.

so, as mentioned, you can get a welder to make you a tube steel stand custom made.

tube steel is very strong. I used to have a 90 and 65g double stacked: it was made with 1" tube steel.

in fact, as you can see from my old pic, my old fishroom was full of double stacked tanks on steel stands.

so it is an option if you want.

some say they are ugly, so if you want to go wood, go for it.

just make it strong.

hope this helps

LOL! They don't come out why would u need to take them out? The way i did it is make a 2x4 box the same footprint as the tank and bolt 4 L shaped legs to the 2 bottom supports [boxes]. If u really had to like if there where a leak or somthing i would have to unbolt and remove the top of the frame and get a hand then lift the tank straight up out of the frame the fit is fairly tight in the L shaped legs.
