I have a 75 gallon setup with 2 Eheim 2217s and a fluval 406. I run a tunze 6015 power head also. Have spray bars on both eheims. Right now my Oscar is about 8 inches (guess) maybe a little more or less. Have had him about 6 1/2 months. He is in with a Raphael catfish who is 8 inches by my guess. I do weekly water changes typically around 40%. Everything seems to be good nitrates around 10-20 whenever check it. I feed hikari bio gold twice daily( medium pellet) about 8 in the morning and evening. Occasionally some crickets n frozen krill. N e suggestions? Catfish gets feed usually 2 to 3 times a week at night with hikari sinking carnivore pellets. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Your doing a great job, and aquarium looks great also. When Oscar gets full grown I would imo feed once every othe day, or light feedings once a day.:)

pops pops what is your feeding schedule for your Oscar.

Ty. I was thinking about getting a fx6 n replacing the 406 and 1 Eheim. Not sure if it would be to much current or unnecessary.

Tbh I don't have any experience with canister filters, so I know other experienced members will chime in. :)
