new 75 with green terror and 5 silver dollars what else can you keep with a gt? i would like all the other fish to be smaller and have the gt as a center piece.

i wouldnt add more cichlids in a 4ft long tank. once that GT hits 6" which doesnt take long then it may become an ass plus you want your centre piece in tip top condition which fighting for territory doesnt do. after 6" you begin to realise that a 4ft long tank isnt as big as it first seemed.

i would go a small pleco such as an albino bristlenose, they work hard and look great.
also pictus for cleaning up the bottom a little and giving more activity, this and the dollars you already have will help your GT to come out of his shell.

I've got mine in a 75 gallon with 2 bichirs (delhezi and senegalus) and a Crenicichla menezesi. He's about 8" and gets along fine with the others. The bichirs are ignored and the pike gets chased a bit, but minimal damage.

gt so far at 4in hes being really cool..he just responds to fast movements,if a fish moves too fast he gets in their face nothing else

GT looks GREAT!! All the other tank mate ideas given have been good. I would certainly not put another cichlid in with it. I like the bichir idea and a smaller growing pleco.

loves severums... right now he is in the 75 with 5 med sized silver dollars. The pics are from a month ago when he was in the 125,Hes just a little bigger now.
