75 gallon gt tank

The bichirs and the plecos are your best long term option IMO.

But I do understand that a 4 inch fish in a 75 gallon tank looks pretty empty, so if you want to add a tankmate temporarily I understand. In that case you could add a smaller, less aggressive fish than the GT, and watch it like a hawk to know when to take it back out.

My recommendation would be JD in this case, but again, only temporarily until the GT is big enough to look like it fills the tank, or if to much aggression occurs before this point.

if he adds a temporary cichlid tankmate they may fight possibly leading to a permanent disfigurement of his centrepiece.

I say leave the tank as is. The GT will be an awesome centerpiece when it fills out. The tank may look understaocked now but all of your fish are still growing. Things will look a lot different in a few more months. Be thankful. At least your fish will allow tankmates. My fish are not having it!

I thought I put enough disclaimers in there ha
