I was in Chicago about a month ago. Problem is trying to bring fish across the border...too much headache when you aren't a citizen.
Yessir lol. You have some great sources at your fingertips though. Not sure if you have ever ordered cichlids from Daves Rare Fish but thats the best source for africans I've ever stumbled upon. Probably 50% of my stock is from there and can be delivered to your door next day

Well I'm not sure of the additional cost bringing them into the States but in Canada they don't usually give you a hard time bringing fish back as long as they are for personal use. I know on orders shipped directly into Canada, you have to pay Fish and Wildlife which I think is an additional $250. I normally have my fish shipped to a Fed ex office right past the border and I pick up my fish there and then drive them back into Canada. I'm not re-selling the fish so I never have an issue.
