I think it looks good, well engineered and executed with pride and proffeciancy. Curious as to how this progresses

I know some of you don't like the baby blue for the drylok but lowes would not tint the drylok another other color blue that that color because they have a sheet there that says what tint they can use. In the pictures the blue looks lighter then what it is because I took the pictures with my phone. There was another coat of drylok added to the inside of the tank tonight and there should be another one tomorrow. On Sunday I will be putting the glass in the tank and use silicone for all of the edges and corners in the tank. I will be using ge type 1 silicone.

Very nice. I'm curious to see how long the drylok holds up for you:)

What's the stock going to be?

1 pair of dwarf chanchitos 1 pair of sajicas 1 pair of rainbow cichlids and probably some kribs. Im not sure if I want to put my pair os servums in it. The drylok has a 10 year warranty on the can so I hope it last longer then that.

Yea I will be watching this one to see how it holds up. My friend asked about using drylok but was not sure if it was fish safe. I might want to put a few feeder guppies in there for a little to see if there is a problem with the drylok. Would hate to see you lose all you fish. Other then that tank looks good.

I would not be so worried about fish safe as many use it here for backgrounds, but will it hold water like epoxy or pond coat?

my buddy has built these tanks before so he is helping me out on this tank. He has a 240 gallon tank thats 8 ft long. he used white drylok in it and its holding up very well. The only problem with drylok is that when you put it in it has a rough surface to it and the alage grows in it and the plecos wont eat it off. I came up with a idea is that you put more coats of drylok into the tank and then you sand the last coat to make is smooth. We are going to try in on a smaller tank to see how it works,
