one the jd and gt will probly fight in that tank they would most lickly need a longer tank but you could do it and i'd get cons MUCH tuffer then firemouths the firemouths would look better but would get the crap beaten out of them they wouldn't stand a chance with a gt or jd but if you got a salvini it might pair up with the con and most lickly would torture the rest of the fish in the tank there small but very tuff little guys dont' under estimate them

A JD with either a GT or a Gold Severum. But a GT would be the the go. If you want other fish add some bottom cats

what is the proper diet to feed a jd so it grows healthy. I heard they need vegtables but wich ones, how often and how do you prepare them. What a bout live food also

I'd go with some Uaru amphiacanthoides and some Acarichthys heckeli...or you could possibly use Satanoperca jurupari instead. Mix it up man, you don't have to go with the bread and butter 'common' species.... Out the ones you listed though, the JD, Savlini, Severum would look awesome!!

most of the time the commons are the best most of mine are imo they look better
