75 gallon stocking ideas and aquascape

Hey! This is my 75 gallon at the moment I’d love to hear some more ideas to put in to aquascape it. Also the fish I want to put in here are this. 2 blue acaras, 4 opaline gouramis, 10 tiger barbs 4 rainbow fish, and 2 rainbow sharks. Does this sound like too many fish in here? I hate overstocking tanks and always worry about it, if so just let me know what to reduce my numbers to. Thanks!

Sounds like you may be overstocked, personally I wouldn’t add the gouramis, and instead let the acaras be the centerpieces.

I would forget gouramis, as Fishnerd360 . I would stock it with these fish:

5 German Blue Rams
15 Pristella/X-Ray Tetras
13 Black or normal Harlequin Tetras
7 Peppered Corydoras
1 Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami’s
11 Checkerboard Barbs
1 Zig Zag Yellowtail Spiny Eel

I wouldn’t keep two rainbow sharks. They like being alone and generally will fight if you have more than one.

The Masked Shadow That is no were near their original stocking sounds like your dream tank not theirs lol

and rainbow sharks can be aggressive especially to other rainbow sharks so I would ditch them and maybe add a Denison barb or two they get to a similar size and would mix with the other fish better you could try a rainbow shark but just one and you might have to remove fish if problems arise

I said here is what I would do lol. I would forget the Sharks and Gourami’s, and get something like rams.

Sounds like it's very overstocked, acaras get 5-6", tiger barbs get 4" and depending on the rainbows not to mention the other fish listed. I would also guess the tiger barbs would tear up the acaras. What is the most important fish in your list?
