This is a market survey for educational purposes for a manufacturing class I am taking. I need about 15-20 people to answer the following simple questions based on the two pictures.

The stand will be made of 4x4s and 2x4s. It is an unfinished tank design because I was limited to a total of 4 parts. I am not selling these, it is just a project I am working on for school.

1. Would you buy this product?
2. Would you purchase this over a store bought stand?
3. How much would you pay for this stand?
4. Do you think there would be a high demand for this style stand for different size tanks?

1. Yes, a simple structure that has been proven time and time again!
2. Yes
3. $30. Considering the low cost of 2x4s & 4x4s, these stands are not worth much besides labor. So i'm essentially giving ~$20 for labor.
4.Yes, demand will be high and may outsell the stands at the petsmart/petco. Shipping would not put a smile on people's faces.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. 40$, little more if cabinet doors were on the front and panels on the side
4. Yes. Most DIY stands have this or a very similar frame

1. Would you buy this product? not in this form
2. Would you purchase this over a store bought stand? depending on price
3. How much would you pay for this stand? unfinished for a 75 gallon. $50 or less
4. Do you think there would be a high demand for this style stand for different size tanks? Not unless there are some design changes. I would use doubled 2x4s insted of 4x4 b/c the 4x4 twist to easy and it's hard to keep them true when building. and with longer tanks I would like to see some cross bracing. but other then that It's a solid start.

1. Would you buy this product?
If it was cheap enough (would finish with plywood myself)

2. Would you purchase this over a store bought stand?
probably, if cheap enough....it would save me the trouble of putting the frame together myself

3. How much would you pay for this stand?
$35

4. Do you think there would be a high demand for this style stand for different size tanks?
if it is cheap enough....stand would be greatly improved it it was finished with doors etc.

1. Yes as an unfinished stand, like a Mill store type DIY starter.
2. Depends on price
3. $30 to 45
4. I think the demand as is would be very low, however, with some marketing you'd get the buyer interested in the customizability.

1. Would you buy this product? Yes, but likely more so with sides and doors, or at least a bottom shelf. Crossbracing?

2. Would you purchase this over a store bought stand? Depends on cost. If reasonably priced it'd be a decent option. I would expect this to be offered as a knockdown kit form.

3. How much would you pay for this stand? 50$ tops. Maybe more if sides and doors were offered.

4. Do you think there would be a high demand for this style stand for different size tanks? There would probably be a decent demand. Larger tanks would probably require cross bracing and it would be a decent thing to incorporate in even this size.
