Okay awesome so something like this for a final stocking should be fine!?
2 Senegal bichir 1 albino 1 regular
1 delhizi bichir
12 congo tetras
1 bristlesnose pleco
1 larger gourami
As long as by larger gourami, you don’t mean a giant gourami. I would skip kissing gourami as well.

Probably something around blue or gold.
Do snakeskin get to big? I think 8 inches which would be fine.

If not a gourami, ctenopoma are large, natural tankmates to bichirs, and are cousins to gouramis.

Just a 3spot gourami or a snakeskin or a kissing gourami not like a giant gourami or anything crazy. Okay well in that case I will just get 2 normal sens didn't realize the albino were that much smaller

Keep an eye on the albino sen. Generally cb sens are smaller (8 inch), but albinos can be as small as 6. That may wind up as a meal for a 12 inch del.

CB sens are very inbred and look different and don’t get as big and from my experience don’t live that long. If you don’t mind the extra coin, I’d go with wild caught sen. I’ve had several CBs and now have a WC and the WC caught is much better looking, and so far seems to be much healthier, more active and is about 12”. The only down side is my WC was $50 compared to $7 for CB.

It works similar to electric jacks. Part of the line breeding that results in the color morph winds up making a smaller adult size.

Any pics? I’d love to see a side by side comparison of the two!

I’ve seen huge kissing gourami, 10” and bigger. I’d skip those

Here’s some vids of my wild caught sen.and CB albino. CBs have a stubby round head compared to the triangular head on the WC and they’re stockier, almost like a short body. I had two CB albinos and they seemed healthy and my parameters were good and then at about 2 years, they both died within a week of each other. I’ve read this is common. I would avoid albino either way, but if you can, WC is the way to go
