75 GALLON

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree with most that is said here, but of course that doesn't mean u HAVE to get rid of them right now. For example as they get bigger start getting rid of firstly the FH, and get a GT, when they get bigger again get rid of the salvini etc... It's really ur choice of what u leave in there and what u get rid of but it's best that u get rid of the most agressive ones first. U could try and keep the GT and JD with the convicts and FM as dithers, a little overstocking usually minimizes the agression, provided u can keep up with the water quality. Anyways just wanted to say that u can go gradually as they outgrow ur tank.

Thx everyone for the responses! i have been trying to get onto the MFK site for a few days now but it seems that the site was down for a little while. So i already got rid of the smaller FM. I will be giving the red O back to my friend within a month or so and will be putting the albino cory cats in the 15g until i can find someone who wants them once the other fish get big enough to start looking at them as food. I came home and 1 of the Tiger Barbs had been eaten (I ave no idea who did it lol). But i will be leaving all of the fish in there for now until i can decide in which direction i want the tank to go while they are stil juvies. I was wondering is there any kind of crustaceon i can keep in the 75g that will be able to hang with the any fish i decide to stay with/ get when they are fully grown? Also i am looking into doubling up on the filtration, what is the benefit of getting a canister over another HOB?

so many different large fish in one tank o.0 I'm all for larger tanks for bigger fish but a gt would do fine in a 75g with dithers and convicts, however you need more filtration bad... even for your current list

should i double up with a second marineland emperor 400 or save up and get a canister? whats the benefit of a canister over the HOB?
