75 going on 180

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've had fish all my life. Way back I had an ender that I got and he ate everything. That was my fault and the times, the lfs sold it to me with me not knowing it's potential. I haven't developed the love for ljs that I've always had for the ujs. That prior experience may be part of it.
Went through the same back before the internet. Cute little snakeheads that were supposed to be friendly really werent lol.
Here's a pic. Not sure how good it's from my phoneView attachment 1244385

Nice i like the way the backround is set up.

That del has a unique coloration i like the gold/tan look to it

Thanks. Working on a background for the 180 too. Yeah they are real pretty up close. Just the pattern has faded. I'll look for a pic from when they were small one of them had external gills when I got him......super cute.

Welcome to the poly section, i wonder what stock will you get for the 180g. That was my plan before to **** down the 75g and only focus on the 180g but it didnt happened as plan, i seperate the LJ and UJ, LJ in the 180g and UJ in the 75g.
I think you spelled shut wrong.

Looks nice, first time ive seen a goldust swimming around, most of the time they intend to hide.
actually in this pic are del, sen, albino, moke. You see no golddust because like you said he hides all the time. lol I can get another one but you are not the first person Ive heard say that so I'm guessing they are all shy or mostly anyway. Moke is pretty shy too but that was day one in the tank. My lfs ordered him and I was unable to pick it up for 2 weeks so they held it kind of qting for me. He was skinny and kind of dumpy when I got him around 5 inches. Hes filled out a bit since then lfs had a hard time getting him to eat. He eats fine for me.

Yes the background looks awesome! And the polys do too! They all look very active. :) How did you make the background?
Carved foam, pond foam, concrete, then pond armor. Think I may use fiber glass matting and resin on the 180 haven't decided yet though. You can paint the fiberglass with krylon so may get better colors. still playing around with it.
