Not for glass, I was told long ago to only put plywood on for acrylic tanks. Not that it would hurt glass (unless its not square) but its an added expense that isn't needed.Nice, no plywood on top?

Thanks! I've done them all in my time. It's not my first rodeo. I'm trying to match this as close as possible to the 180 stand and canopy since it'll sit right next to it. I don't have the $ to spend on a matching stand and canopy right now...lol. The guy that made those for the 180 makes them for my lfs he wants $1200 mostly because of the custom size. He cranks out all the common ones 4x18 4x24 6x20 6x24 3xs for what ever that fits. The real test of my craftmenship will be the canopy.Nice job man. I butchered and attempt at 75 Hal stand lol.
Agreed about the plywood. My understanding is glass tanks only need support at the 4 corners. Even the big name manufactured stands are flimsy everywhere but the corners. Also have cinderblock stands.
Yay!!!!Someone made a friend!

Stand for 90 cube looks well-built and professional. Dang how did you learn all this craftsmanship? Still voting for a DIY background video tutorial or stand building tutorial. Lol
What’s going in the 90?
