How about Africans? You could do some of the smaller haps in there, I would stay away from mbuna as they need a lot of hiding places. Red empress is a beuty along with a few other haps.

Are they still as fragile as they were a few yrs ago ?
I can't say for sure because I've only had the one group, so I can't compare. The fact that they're are so few big ones for sale or vids of them to me suggest they're just as fragile as ever but again that's just conjecture on my part.

Still IMO they're worth the effort. Jacks have always had a spot in my heart since they where one of my first fish. So when you combine that with the EBJD's amazing looks, they become irresistible to me.

Pink tail chalceus or red tail barracuda are cool predators, just put in lots of plants especially floating to calm their nerves and you have a cool fish
I am getting one alongside a african knife and marbled bichir for my 70

Even 2 sevs might not work. I feel like a 75 is good for a single 8"+ cichlid not two. The sevs would be 50/50 as would anything else in that tank.

As for flowerhorns, that tank is most certainly big enough for one.

Dont flowerhorns get to like 14 inch?
