75 with 14" jaguar cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this is the biggest tank i can do for him for now, and hes only been in it 3 weeks, he was in a 55. he is nice and thick, 2" thick at his thickest point. thanks for all the comliments guys, he appreciates them.

he probably does have a slight back deformity considering he hit 14" in a 55 (12" interior width) but that pic does exaggerate how deformed he is. and as most should know its not easy to get a good full on side shot of a fish that only wants to flare up at you head on.

Great Jag man! He IS a bit deformed from being crammed in that 55. How do I know?

Because I have a full grown Red Bay Snook that has the same problem and looks exactly the same as your jag.

You see, I kept him in a 30 gallon because he had one large, flat rock that he loved to hide under. He was growing well and eating great.

When I upgraded him into a 125, I noticed that he was significantly different from any other I have ever seen.

But, at least you are heading in the right direction with the upgrade. Congratulations on being proactive.

If you EVER want to sell him, make me your first stop, will ya?

Deformed? That's one of the best looking Jag's I have seen. If that's deformed, I might have to reconsider my stance on keeping deformed fish...LOL
