Thanks guys. The stand is all 2X4s, doubled up in a lot of spots. The support for the tank is done. He will be doing the finishing work with nice framing and doors etc and will be getting stained the same color as the rest of the furniture in the living room. The window behind it will be getting tinted and new blinds are going throughout the living room to be able to completely shut out light for my other project is installing the rest of the essentials to have an insane home theater setup and can completely darken the room. Don't want to close the window in completely though. Thanks again for all the compliments and I will do a nice thread on the reinforcing of the floor and the central water change system

In all honesty that stand scares me. I made my first 750 stand out of 4x4's and huricane brackets and it still sagged a little. I built the new stand fron 2x6 and even supported the bottom the length wise with 2x6 spaced every 1' on center.
