750 is on the stand!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Stand will be getting reinforced friday morning yet again LOL. Only reason I didn't do a metal/steel stand was due to the height I wanted the stand needed to be built in place and I wanted to finish it off with wood, even though I could have I guess against metal. From research, opinions and facts I have read.. If you take 2.. 2X4s and screw them together and compare strength to a 4X4 of the same wood its supposed to be roughly 30-40% stronger and is much less likely to bow. I used 4X4 on my other tank stand for only a 220 and they actually started to bow or bend with just time and nothing to do with the actual weight

u will get the best results out of ur stand if u do it rafter style like my 450. i got my plan after seeing a 1000 gal with no sagging at all...

does it have a black bottom?

looks great, but who's the poof in the tank? ;)

the stand will be getting reinforced more. Not looking for any sympathy but one of the worst things for this project's progress has happened cause I broke about a half a dozen bones throughout my right hand and had to go in for surgery last night to have plates and pins put in so now I have a cast on for 8 weeks. This sux and I will still be doing what I can but with one arm not sure what I can really do...

whaaaaaaat! That's nuts. I'm out of school in like 3 weeks and can lend a hand with whatever you need. We gotta get this tank squared away once and for all lol.
