Are the ultima filters any good? I have trouble keeping my 350G filterd with 4 FX5's and have no idea why as the stockingisnt that heavy!

The verdict is not out yet. I will be adding some 8" orinos befor the weekend. One of the reasons I went with the filter is ease of maintenance. Just hook up a hose, turn the valve and backwash the filter. Never need to replace the filter floss in that tank!

nice, are you going to add a UV system to the ultima?

I already have one, but it was in the house and I forgot to install it...

What make it that filter I can't make it out but I recognize it but can't place it? Are those sequence pumps?
