Severums are beautiful and generally peacful fish so you could add others later and won't have to worry about aggression.
You can have as many Firemouth's as you want. They do a lot of chasing and show off but don't hurt anybody. I personally don't think they are very pretty or interesting and I have three of them.
A GT male would make a beautifull single specimen, but they don't mix well when they get older. I have heard the same about JD's but I have a mated pair that are very mellow. It really depends on the individual fish.
