would 4 rbp be alright in a 75g tank?

could i even do a couple more?

what kind of filtration should i use in a tank this size what would work??

Yeah you can keep 4 rbp's in a 75g tank... For awhile.. I had 5 in my 75g tank then moved them to a 150g..

No you could not do more..

Filtration, my specialty... I suggest 2 emperor 400's and a xp3 canister... Piranhas are messy and more filtration the better, along with water changes..

Keep me posted.

okay thats good cuz im gettin a good deal on a 75g tank at my local petland because they are having a pretty sweet fish sale since its there 41st year of having them so everything that has to do with fish is either 41 cents or 41% off until halloween an that sorta thing

ill have to do some research on filtration because all im really use to is HOB filters

Please feel free to ask here, or PM me.. HOB are also powerfilters.. Get 2 Emperor 400's at doctor foster and smith and a canister. XP3 is extremely easy to use, clean, and manage. Remember they really shouldnt live in there for life, but 3-4 well fed should be fine for quite some time, with proper filtration, decorations, and water changes.

i have an AC110 and a ehiem 22xx on my 75 with 6 ps and the filters can handle the waste no problem..

im gonna be moving mine to a 125 but i think the 75 should be alright for 4

Fishermoe, I like your sig.. :)

unlike alot of users i love piranhas. if u are really interested in them get a name in piranha-fury.com. they are well respected site in this aspect. but if u are serious get a 150g and 6 - 8 piranhas. the more the better. they will pick on each other alot more in smaller colonies. filtration and airation are your biggest concerns. GL

Okay, well your going to need more than that one filter.. A minimum of 2 great filters.. Like I said, 2 power filters and a canister filter for your 75g will be great.
