theres about half an inch of black sand

I took 30 gallons from my 55g, 15g of cycled water from my lfs and then 30g of tap water treated with 2 different chemicals to help it cycle faster and not have a super high nitrite jump so I dont think its ganna be a super hard cycle

BB does not live in the water it lives on surfaces like in your filters or rocks and gravel in your tank
