75g Pike Help...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hmm, I always thought it was a 75? My LFS has an Aqua-something (not aquaclear) tank that says 48x18x24 75 GALLON on it.

Definitely a 90. If you don't know how to figure it, here is simple equation to do so.
48" x 16" x 24" = 20736" You then divide this (20736) by 231 which gives you 89.766234 (90 gal rounded out)

Cool, Thanks for the info!

So, 1xCincta, 3xBleeding Heart Silver Dollars, 1xMegladoras Irwini

I was thinking instead of a cat, putting a brown/black knife, but that would be kind of odd looking, seeing as there african species. :nilly:

I'm also thinking of putting a Vieja Argentea, so all of the movement isnt at the bottom.

Just member your bioload. Keep the knife out though, it will either get beaten or eaten...;). Vieja arg. , three bleeding hearts, irwini, and cincta. Pretty much maxed out there.

Don, can explain all that crap please? LOL!! How did you figure all that out? Its 48 x 18 x 24...not 48 x 16 x 24...lol. My biggest question is what is the 231 #....explaination please. Is that liters? Gallons?

Hmm, Thinkin' about removing the vieja, and irwini, and adding Pimelodus blochii. Max size 10'' and look Sweeeeeet.

Snake_Eyes wins the prize.
LxWxH = Total cubic inches, divided by 231 (cubic " per gal)

Whoops, My mistake 18 not 16, As for as figuring it out JUST GOOGLED :DLOL

Right on, thanks for the explaination thingyer...lol....was wonder how the 231 came into play, but makes much more sense now. My dream tank is 96 x 60 x 24"...man that would be a pimp tank!! 600gals is kinda outa my budget though...haha
