If you are trying to be geographically correct though, adding swordtails would not be part of an Amazon biotope. Swordtails are endemic to Mexico and Central America.
I just removed a bristlenose from a tank with a new spawn just to be safe, although I'm not sure it would be a problem, large plecos are known to eat eggs and wrigglers at night when cichlid parents are resting.
