I have a 75G that's fully cycled that I want to house some large cichlids in. I was wondering if this sounds like a good idea??
-red devil
-Mayan cichlid
-Senegal bichir
-syndontis catfish
-breeding pair of convicts
-belly crawler pike
-female jag
They are all about 2 inches😊the syndontis is like 5 inches

That would probably not last long term, do have the fish already? Many RD and cichlids change/get aggressive at the 5 inch+ size, then start killing teammates.breeding cons kill/harass other fish when they with babies....which will be often

Even though they grow out together, you have some aggressive fish.if you upgrade to a longer tank...a 125 might work better

For that size tank IMO you could try:Mayan,1 con, catfish, birchir

If you wanted a red devil that badly then return the other fish and only keep it, you could try the syno with it but I won't make any promises that the rd won't kill anything else in its tank. For a while I was tossing the idea of Amph in my tank back and forth but then realized I care to much for the utmost safety of all my catfish.
