Help with stocking ideas for upcoming 75g. So far I’m planning on getting a jaguar catfish. I’m looking for something in the middle also thinking of pink tail characin but not sure how big they get

South american options would be a good pair for the jaguar cat. The pinktail will get a bit large for the 75, they like room to swim when full grown, if no plans to upgrade I would skip it.
A cichlid option would be a small group of geophagus like the redhead tapajos, or similar guianacara or acaras. Or, as long as you made sure the cat was large already, small-med size crenicichla like belly-crawler pike. The pikes can eat fish almost as big as they are.

PTC can grow out to 10in. I would not recommend one for a 4ft tank. They are scardy cats and bolt on any movement. At times he smashes into the ends even in my 6ft tanks. 20210321_194702.jpg
Mine is about 6.5 inches long now

What about some freshwater
Type of puffer?

No puffer. Any species will either get too large and aggressive or stays too small and is liable to get eaten.
Maybe some mid sized cichlids or silver dollars.

Not interested in cichlids unless it’s a pike cichlid but even then not sure what I’d like and are there any colored silver dollars like something other than silver or any with cool patterns

Not trying to be rude but didn’t you need to rehome a bunch of fish a few weeks ago, and also don’t you have a flowerhorn in a small plastic tote as well? I think you should focus on what you have already just my 2 cents

Yea I know. I’m not getting the 75g until I make room and get rid of the right fish. As for the flowerhorn, I’m going to be moving him to the 40g as soon as it’s cleared up.
