If you provide enough cover, should be fine. Jags have plates like most catfish do which help protect them.

He will get way to big for a 75. all species if I remember correctly.

It’s an African species and grows extremely slow at least mine does I’m expecting it to outgrow a 75g in a couple years but plan on having in 40g for a while but I’ll start thinking of selling or of a plan for him

If it’s a dwarf giraffe catfish, it should be fine. 8” max size.
