I would put a single 12-16" fish in a 75g, but not a breeding pair, being a pair, the female will most likely need a divider, +there will be fry. As a general rule you can spawn a pair of 12" in 75 gallon tank as long as the pair are properly bonded. As far as severums go you could spawn two pairs in 75 gallon tank without any issues.
