I second the Jag. I currently have a pair of spawning Jags in a 55. The male is about 12 inches and the female 8 or 9 inches. They have lived there for about two years now, so I would think a single Jag (or possibly even two) would be perfectly comfortable in a 75.

Sad. 12in. fish in a 12in wide tank. Sounds comfy.

1 adult jag needs at the very least a 90gal tank. Anything smaller your drasticly reducing the health and happiness of your fish.
A midas would be good in a 75.
A Flowerhorn.
Pair terrors
Shoal of geos.
Puffers are extremely hard to care for with the water requirements they need and also the diet.

Your concern is noted.... First off, they grew that big in that tank. They were purchased as fry, and have always lived in that tank. They are in perfect health, and the male will be moved to a very large tank shortly. The female I am not really sure what to do with as of yet. If you are suggesting a pair of Green Terrors yourself, I don't really see any difference between that and a single Jag.

I have a Fahaka puffer in a 75. He is my favorite out of my 16ish tanks. They grow fast, are a blast at feeding time, great color, tons of personality. This is one of the few puffer species that is freshwater its whole life. There are a lot of fun clips on youtube if you want to see one in action.

Go ahead, start a thread about keeping 2 jaguars in a 55gal. See how quickly responsible fishkeepers flame the hell out of you.
About the Green terror comment. Really? You dont see a different between 10in male and 7in female, and a 15in male? The fish would have no room to swim and could barely turn around. Thats the equivenant of keeping a dog in a closet. But since dogs can survive and grow in a closet, it must be ok, right?
Not trying to argue with you brother, Just concerned for the well-being of your pets.

+1 terrors are not the same as jags...

its common to see jags reaching well above the 15 inch mark but i have only heard of few green terrors that break 12 inch. the longer they stay in that tank the more notable it will be that they need more space...

i remember a thread a few years ago that i cant find anymore some guy posted pics of his stunted jag he kept in a 90 gal it had back curvature and everyone flamed on him for not providing him a better home. keep in mind that was just one in a larger size tank than your talking about. IMO don't post pics of your setup and fish if you want to avoid a butt load of harassment.
