I resently got a 75gallon tank. im still desiding on what fish to put in it. i was thinking p's. my lfs is selling them for $10 at 1". i wanna get 3, but is there any other fish tank i can keep with them?? like an oscar? by the way there going to be in the 75 for life.

i've seen o's with p's and ive tried it but it dosent work out they nip at him alot

I used to have 3 14" oscars in with one 8" RBP. Worked out fine, but the P was always a bit shy....depends on the individual fish you have! Good Luck!

3 RBPs with proper filtration and a nice powerhead would be great in a 75g for life. As far as tank mates nothing is garunteed. You can try a cheap common pleco or a ralph cat. Ive had luck with the latter on a short term basis (I only had them together for about a year).

3 p's will be enough for a 75g as they reach maturity, you dont need to keep an oscar with them.

Plenty of filtration, feed them lots of variety, no reason to put an oscar in there it's inevitable they will kill it once they grow a bit. $10 is way over paying for 1" rbp's.

try an electric catfish if you can find one

Why would you add and Electric catfish? :banhim: :WHOA: :screwy:

A 75 gallon would be great for life. Get 5 of them if you can to start with, because all of them may not make it. You CAN NOT KEEP THEM WITH ANY OTHER FISH FOR LIFE! Good luck!:)
