Another note I have to agree with you on, is the fact that Aquarium Adventure is the only decent LFS in the area. The petsmart is decent, but other than that, there's practically nothing.

400 is ridiculous. A vendor sells 12" here for 150$ + shipping. I got mine at 10" for 225$.

I have not been to petsmart in columbus ( i don't live there) but there is a jacks aquarium and pets in findlay and they have treated me pretty damn good they are the only place that I know of that you can get red belly piranha around here aquarium adventure told me they could not get any but they have that big ass tank with 6 or 8 adults in it WTF BUT the jacks in columbus is a joke

I got my black for $150 + shipping from Infinite Aquatics...definitely the best price I've found.

One lfs near me had blacks selling for $400 each so that price is on the high end, but not impossible.

At least you guys get these prices.. Australia has the worst prices for Arowanas (all types) IMHO!!!
