8-10" WETPET THAT GROWS FAST?! any suggestions??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also liked gamerchicks acara suggestion.
There are lots of acara that get 6 or 7 inches that would do the job.
Species like dimerus, portalegrensis or pulcher would be ideal.

+1 on the acaras and those closely related... You've got a wide variety between Andinoacara and the Aequidens family! Also, Jeff Rapps has some rare and undescribed Andinoacaras in stock that I think would look great in a well arranged 75g
slightly smaller than what you're looking for, but highly active and usually have great personalilty

I keep and oscar and a green severum in my 75g. I've had them going on 4yrs and put them together as little guys. I can maintain no more than 20ppm nitrates with one weekly fin-level WC.

That could be a problem if HITH arises. I think.

That would be cool

H. Deppii grow really fast. Probably one of the fastest growing I've ever owned.

What's with everyone saying an Oscar can't live in a 75gal solo? It's been done any the fish can thrive with proper mait. Someone suggested an acara as a solo wet pet for 75 gal of water.. O_o
