I have glued plywood to the top and bottom of the stand and have found there is a wobble in the stand which is because of the floor being uneven over the 8ft would sitting the stand
on 1" polystyrene be ok or should i just let the metal bend with the 1and 1/2 tonne (which i dont think is a good idea??

Any more ideas on the above please there building the tank on friday???

Well its up and running not with out problems though,cracked the sump so had to fix that, had to empty it because of shoddy building and the weirs were to big, but im getting there..Heres a pick, still have to box it in with doors, dont know how im gonna fit doors to box steel.

I am thinking bare is awesome

but you could do a bit more welding to make hinge brackets
