Sean if you still have it by time of the meet bring it with you ill take it.

Sounds good.... but I am considering keeping it because my new tanks will be here by then.... I hope.

But with all the controversy over them not being "Rare" anymore I'm sure it'll help me NOT SELL THE FREAKING FISH!

People buy fish, because they like it, not because it's rare, bro. For example, there's no way I'm going to spend a G on a Kelberi, but Joey would in a New York minute. I'm sorry if I derail your thread

Famous323.... to answer your question (and from my experience) the Lei's are slightly less aggressive. I've had Jardini's that were aggressive at 3" and these two Lei's that I have are currently 8"-9" and seem rather passive. There are several members here that keep their Lei's in a community tank, that's not as common with a Jardini (however it can and has been done).

I do agree with John, the Lei's are not as "rare" as they once were but NOWHERE near as prevalent as the Jardini's. In my obsessive nature to visit LFS I have occasionally seen a Lei but typically always see at least 1 Jardini. I've found that Lei's are only kept and sold by "Hobbyist" such as us from these forums. Since Infinate Aquatics brought them in they've been readily available and most are available in this size range since they've grown out. Anybody disagree?
