virgil2090, my Pearsei is also like DMD123's. Always on the lookout for me and food. It follows me around the tank, I can hand feed it, etc. I agree with DMD123. It is indeed an owner responsive fish.
goldcook, it's a Green Chromide (Etroplus suratensis). I used to have two of them that I bought at around 2.5-3" from Jeff Rapps at Tangled Up In Cichlids. I raised them up to around 7" but lost both of them due to equipment malfunction.
A very pretty and mellow fish. I hope to keep them again in the future. You can see some old videos of them in the following link.
