8"-9" Spotted Gar with 12"-13" Clown Knife

Has anyone here kept spotted gars with clown knives?? Anything I need to know or be concerned about??

Getting the new gar and tank mates consist of 9" electric cat, 7" RTC, 9" TSN, 3) silver aros at 7", 10" and 12", 4) 3"-4" indo dats, 7" spotted eel, 13" snowflake eel and of course the 12" clown knife. Right now everyone is in harmony, just wondering if a gar added will stir things up?

What do you guys think?? Thanks in advance for responses.

that might not be the choice inless u got space in a seprate tank for now because they grow fast and soundds like u already got alot of big fish which need space tho if u got space id say go for it tho

how big is that tank? i doubt the gar will stir things up, it's more likely to be bullied in a tank like that.

CK'S grow very fast like in a year will be 20" long! gars are not really aggresive, actually prone to being picked on!

I'd be far more worried about the electric cat lol, mine killed a 20" clown knife.

i kept a CKF with my Gar, they were about the same size. the CKF lasted about a week, woke 1 morning and the it was dead, bits of it missing and one fat Gar.

wow, really? Wonder wat set it off to just zap something,........ mine actually almost killed my snowflake eel. It was a case of mistaken identity. I threw in feeders so everyone in the tank was in attack/feeding mode and I think moved my snowflake from another tank and it went into the e-cat's hole and the cat gobbled the eel's head and tried to eat it. I thought it would zap it but it didn't. It just tried to swallow it, I tipped over the rock it was under and he let the eel go. Then later the eel would swim up to the cat just wondering around and the cat left it alone since then.

man, that's crazy, i wonder if the gar killed the ck or did the ck die for another reason and THEN the gar smelled rotting flesh and picked at him??

okay now im really confused when i asked if i could keep a TSN in with 2 severums a royal plec a BGK and a Gold Clown knife i was told that i was already overstocked and when i showed pictures of my tank people told me it was overstocked now look a this guy

and explain to me how this is FAIR to any of the fish in their you would nee a SUPERSIZED monster fish POND to keep all these fish
