I don't believe she is stupid either. just uneducated in fish. she gives off the impression our opinions, the one that she asked for, do not matter. why ask our opinion if she's just gonna do what she wants anyway. like i said point-less thread. and like i said i won't be surprised if her first batch of fish in this 8 gal tank die. with such a small tank the water chemistry is going to be much easier to fluctuate and with the amount of knowledge that she has shown in regards to fish i don't think they're gonna make it. just my opinion. good luck loves severums. that's all i can say since u don't seem to take advice so well
Again, I think you are making too many assumptions. Loves sevs has plenty of experience keeping fish, she's not just a complete newb who's never kept a fish alive for more than a couple months. And keeping a small tank isn't that much different from keeping a larger tank, you just have to wait a little longer for it to cycle so you are 100% sure it's fully cycled, but after that, you just have to do frequent small w/c's and you'll be fine, so it doesn't really take that much more experience.

I think that would depend on your filter. Cascade 500 would take care of the waste and water chemistry issues.

I guess so, but I also have a 2g with just the tiny little filter it came with, and it is pretty stable also (last I checked, my nitrates were between 20-40ppm, but closer to 20).

Bettas would not produce a lot of waste. Biggest waste issue with them would be if you put too much food in the tank, lol.
Yeah, but when you think about it, what is there that could possibly fit in a tank that small that would produce a lot of waste?

Thank u drgnfrc13 for the support . And i am going to do some small cichlid idk what kind.
